Nainital Hill Station-India

The Lake :
The nucleus of Nanital’s exquisite beauty is beautiful
lake. The Lake offers its tourists an opportunity of yachting,
boating or paddling the boat. Rowing as well as paddling boats
are available at both ends of lake. The north end and southern
end of lake is called Mallital and Tallital respectably. This
also has a bridge, Danth. There is bus stop, taxi stand and
railway reservation counter on the same lake bridge, both ends
have well laid out shopping centres, with beautifully laid of
marts, stores and luxury shops.
Snow View :
Snow View is the most easily accessible hill top at a height of
2270 mts. from the sea level and at a distance of 2.5 Km from the
town. This scenic spot is accessible through ropeway. This peak
is also connected by motorable road. Snow view offers an
incrredible and breath taking picture of the glittering and
shivery snows of Himalyas.
The Flatts :
Situated at the northern side of the lake the Flatt is a place of
meeting for people from all walks of life. Here evenings are
heavily crowded at Flatt. The playing ground of Flatt is used for
sports games and cultural activities during festivals. There is
Chat Bazar, Bhotia Market in the Flatt. There is Mosque,
Gurudwara and Naina Devi temple in Flatts. With cinema, theatre
for roller skating, car parking, club, boat house club, Masonic
Hall, Flatt is the perfect place for recreation.
How to reach :
The hill resort of Nainital is easily
accessible. The Airport at Pant Nagar is 71 km away from
Nainital. Flights link Pant Nagar with other places like Delhi.
From Pant Nagar you may reach Nainital through bus or taxi.
The Kathgodam Railway Station is 35 km from Nainital. It connects
Nainital with Delhi, Agra, Bareilly, and Lucknow. From the
station you may reach Nainital through bus or taxi.
The excellent road network links Nainital with Delhi, Bareilly,
Almora, and Ranikhet. The bus stand of Tallital is just one km
from the city center of Nainital.

taxis, Ponies, cycle rickshaws and buses run by the State Road
